If that means finding work online, forming their own company, etc. then that is what they need to do. I fear that what the government isn't saying is that all of these bank collapses lead to less jobs and a worse economic situation. Relying on others, especially the government, for money doesn't seem like the safe thing to do. With other countries thriving while the U.S. economy is falling apart (though some of our trading partners are also seeing economic troubles) now is the time for people to appeal to a Global audience. Democrat or Republican, I honestly believe the government does not have our best interests at heart! I think it is incredibly important for people in the United States to take control of their job situation. You know if the government would have explained how not doing the bailout will affect people maybe it would have passed. The TODAY show had a good segment on the affects of this mess on everyday people. Explaining how these fat cats got into this mess might be helpful as well. Might make a difference.
